The Brightside Academy is Cleveland’s premiere child care and early education provider, with programs ranging from infant day care all the way to summer camp for children in elementary school.

Brightside Academy Ohio-Kinsman is recognized as a four-star child care and early education provider by Ohio’s Step Up to Quality system and a Pre4Clev site in East Cleveland! We service children from six weeks- to 12-years-old and are conveniently located near Family Dollar, Save-A-Lot, Two Cousins Beauty Supplies, and Cleveland Public Library. We are glad to accept Title XX and private pay.

Meet Our Director

My Name is Nokisha Tobias. I have been working in the childcare industry for over seven years. I have been with Brightside for three and a half years. I started off as a teacher then was later promoted to the Lead program teacher and just recently I became the center Director. I enjoy working with children because it gives me the opportunity to give back.  I also enjoy the different relationships  that I have build with the children and their families. My goal as the Center Director for the Brightside Academy Kinsman location is to make sure that each child receives the highest quality care and education that will equip them for success in kindergarten and beyond.

Children are born eager to learn. Brightside Academy’s curriculum helps lead children to their full potential and prepares them for success in school and beyond.

Our kindergarten readiness programs teach age-appropriate lessons that encourage development in a safe and nurturing environment. Trained and experienced teachers care for and educate infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in the areas of reading, math,

communication and exploration daily.

School-age children benefit from before- and after-school care in a supervised and enriching environment and from a fun summer camp program when school is not in session.

Brightside Academy Kinsman is open from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm. Our location is convenient to families working or commuting along Kinsman and East Cleveland. RTA bus stop 14 services the area.
